Red Bumps On Stomach And Pubic Place

Democracy in Schools: Preamble

At the end of 2006, it is a subject that is on everyone's lips: democracy. And more so since the pseudo-separation of Flanders seen by a RTBF wrong audience.

I'd like to read texts that were written by my students of rhetoric the month of May (at the time, I did not have a blog yet ...). These texts are a synthesis of project experience throughout the school year, which saw two first time forts.Le held January 27, 2006: 26 students, 3 teachers (including me) and their director were visited Auschwitz and Birkenau in the project Schools for Democracy, organized by the Ministry for Equal Opportunities and sponsored by the Center for Equal Opportunity . Parallel to this trip to Poland, other rhétos visited Dossin barracks in Mechelen and Fort Breendonck.

The second moment occurred inside the school March 21, 2006: it was the Spring Democracy, where we invited a range of actors of democracy: men and women politicians, journalists, former Prosecutor of King Charleroi Thierry Marchandise, representatives of NGOs, including Amnesty International , etc.. The objective of this day was to allow dialogue between students from 5 th and 6 th years of hand, and secondly these "professionals" of democracy.

This year, in January 2007, we put the cover over 60 rhétos leave a few days in Poland from 29 January to 2 February, to visit Auschwitz and Birkenau, but also the beautiful city of Krakow. Then, on March 22 will be held the second annual Spring Democracy, which this time will try to answer the question: " rules, what's the point? "

One final note: for obvious reasons respect for privacy, I will indicate only the initials of the students.

All your comments, your questions are welcome.
