A ith a rate which is usually released one volume per year A series of comics can hold his reader in suspense over a long period. And when some volumes are expected more than reason, impatience which usually stand the wait becomes weariness, groans, or disdain.
That is, then, if the result never comes? Should we rail against the author lazy? Against the publisher who is afraid to take risks? Against those who have not purchased the first volumes published so that the result was not profitable for the publisher? Harass the illustrator or writer tells us that for at least the end of the story, even as a telegraphic text, scribbled a script? Subsequently, shit, THEN!
Hmm ...
breathe slowly and drink fresh.
That is already better.
But still ... Damn!
After all, nothing forces me to pretend to appreciate the frustration. Popes tout the merits of coitus interruptus , but not a Papist, I give myself the right to find no pleasure there, not even when the case was committed between talent and good company. In this case, it S TEPHEN Desberg (screenplay) and Henry fell (drawing), which frustrated me to two thirds of the trilogy Twilight Angels (Casterman, 2 volumes, 1998 and 1999). You agree that a trilogy which is published only two volumes, it is the false promise of the unfortunate interruption. It may even come to realize that it would have been better not to read any of the first two volumes, rather than being left open and fun. Desberg and setbacks, a duet of "papists igniters? Ah, the frustration digress, I fall into personal attacks.

must say I enjoyed the first two volumes, Poppa (1998, ISBN 2-203-38917-6) and The Maestro (1999, ISBN 2-203-38923-0). I love the delicacy of line back, put her in dark colors in shadows and warm lights in the variety of shots and angles. As for the story woven Desberg, it contains the right amount of strong human emotions, hope and despair, jealousy, envy, strength and weakness so that it attaches to the story as the characters.
I'm tied to the history Poppa, a young singer who dreams that he be given a lead role in one of the operas of Mozart, as Don Giovanni triumph in theaters. Is it too dreamy, not quite equipped to face the cruelty of the theater world, the carnal appetites of men and violent? Will she find, back in his native Tuscany, near his father's advice and domestic resources that will make her an opera singer can inhabit roles? And what is this dark family secret that ...?
Who what?
Well, you do not know.
Not that I want to keep this secret to me. But because in the foreseeing, you will soon know more. And then there are none. Damn third book ever published!
Desberg The duo fell and did not relinquish that Twilight Angels due to separation, in fact, these two accomplices were published subsequently, to other series The circle as e Sentinel (1998-2000) or Cassio (ongoing since 2007). But I fear that this trilogy eighteenth-century concerto remains forever unfinished.
For the record: Desberg put his talents at the service writers of another series of inspiration eighteenth, even if not directly "our" eighteenth century: the bestselling series The scorpion, with the very talented Marini. It was also at that Desberg Marini had first proposed his script Twilight of Angels (source: an interview for Desberg ActuaBD ).
